Playful Learning Spaces - A Giveaway

Ever since reading Emily's post on Playful Learning Spaces the e-course I became smitten with the idea. As you know I have been on a quest for simplicity and pairing down. To have only what I use and LOVE. Well, I have been struggling with making a space for the kiddos. Granted their rooms are full of fun and our dining room table serves as a place for creating art, but it doesn't feel like theirs. They have to continually put it all away into 2 small drawers, because we do have to eat. Not that it is bad, but my children thrive on being creative and I want to encourage that growth in any way I can. Mariah will be sharing ideas for creating areas that invite children to engage in reading, writing, science, art and so on. With summer coming I know this will be a staple in our daily lives. Ellie has found school to be a bit hard so I know in order for her to keep up I will need to focus daily on learning. At the same time I need it to be fun for her since she tends to stress a bit. I am thinking this e-course will send me into the right direction. I am so excited! I love the idea of being able to dedicate a whole room. This one from The Sleepy Time Gal is quite impressive...

The only issue for us is we do not have an extra room so I will have to carve out a space like this that I found on Emily's blog among other inspiring spaces, which I also love...

Mariah was kind enough to offer a free space to one of you! I will also be taking the course and hope to compare notes with the winner, well if you want to that is. I will also be sharing the space I will be inspired to create for the kiddos when the course is completed. The giveaway winner be announced Friday the 1st of April. Did I mention how excited I am about this?

*To enter the giveaway simply comment below. Make sure there is a way for me to contact you though or be sure to check back back on Friday. So simple.

How fun! We are moving (hopefully soon) to a smaller space. I want to still have a place for bonham to create in. This course would help me figure out how to do that. Great idea. Hope I win ;)

This sounds so fun!!! I've got a 2.5yr old and we have a game room that I'd love to convert into a creative kid room.

Oh, this is so what I need right now. Emerson's toys are all over the house. It's completely overwhelming for all of us. This sounds like a great class. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I would LOVE this, especially since we are moving into our new house in Las Vegas next week and I am in the process of figuring out what or how to do a minimalistic play/learning room. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Oh, please, please pick me!! It was my weekend project to organize my sons' toys... and then smack in the middle of making my "donate," "toss," and "keep" piles- wham! it warmed up enough for an impropmtu baseball game in our front yard... and then my older son and husband were home sick on Monday... so the toys are everywhere- my organized piles scattered to the four corners of our new house! (Well, is 15 months still new? We only just purchased light fixtures, so we still kind of have that "just moved in look.") Would love some help- thanks!

Oh how I would love the help in creating the perfect space for the boys in the new home!! I am so overwhelmed with the entire home and the help with the little ones would be wonderful!! Great giveaway and cant wait to see what you do with your own space. xo

This is such a fantastic giveaway. I have a set up for the kids but don't think it's quite right. Congrats on the new website. I Love it!

I would absolutely love to take this course. I don't know why, but I have the hardest time organizing the girls' creative supplies. I gave up a long time ago, and now that they are ages 3 and 5, it's definitely time to make something that works for them. I'm also in that transition of simplifying and getting back to my authentic self, and with that comes my parenting techniques and I am really working on cutting down the technology (tv, movies, iphone games, wii) and getting back to more creative play. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

Just last night I was looking around wondering where is this baby going to go? And what about when he/she is older? I need more room...Or maybe less stuff?

I'm already thinking about this for Elliot! Not easy to carve out an extra space when I feel like we are already at max capacity!

Having a girl I think it's so important to put not only a focus on creativity, but also on math and science. I'm all about mixing girly with educational. Such great spaces. :)

I have a toddler who has taken over our entire house. So we definitely need to carve out a particular space for him. Also, I'm just loving the new blog jump you made. Congrats!

Great idea and great giveaway! Thank you. I, too, struggle with finding a space for my kids to do arts and crafts and play.

I made it to your new site! I love the layout and the photos on this. Congrats!

Am crossing my fingers to win this giveaway! My sister and I are always coming up with ways to change up my nieces' playroom and study area, and this course would be so helpful.
