And George

After doing a bit perusing over on Simple + Pretty I came across And George. It took only a wink of the eye for me to become completely smitten. The shop is not only gorgeous, but the blog is chalk full of inspiration. The styling is quite brilliant too. These are a few of my favorite snippets from the shop, just gorgeous in my opinion. Oh, and the owners of And George are a mother and daughter team. Mother, Jan Roden does exquisite interior design and daughter, Christy Ford shares in her mothers passion. Talk about a pair! Maybe one day that can be Ellie and I.

When the daughter's home was featured in Southern Living, I must have looked at the pictures a thousand times. I absolutely LOVE her style. So sophisticated, but with a very family-friendly edge. I want to hit up this shop on our next vacay!

Do you happen to know what kind of tree is in the first and second picture? I'm really in love with those trees, and I've been seeing them in a lot of designs, but I haven't found out what that variety is called.
