James Hill {a local home}

About a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting some adorable children in Ross Bridge for a Mother's Day gift for grandma. After the shoot I took some time to visit James Hill a neighborhood in Ross Bridge. I rather liked the architecture and the show homes were quite stunning. Of course, they were decked out with all sorts of upgrades and even the decorating was quite spot on which I find to be rare in most show homes. After taking a quick tour I realized this home was worth shooting so I grabbed my camera and took some shots to share. I only wish I had a wide angle lens on me, but alas I did not. I adored the masculine feel of the home, yet felt like a woman could still live here. I would not mind that woman to be me. Ha.

Do you know where the long, low pieces of furniture came from? The ones featured in the last image and the image below the shot of the bed. I've been dying for something just like that for my bedroom. If you do know, please share! Thanks:)

I'm pretty sure (actually, I'm positive) At Home furnished this home.

Looks like they teamed up with At Home to furnish their showhouse!

Haha. I didn't see Doug's comment when I left mine!

What a spectacular home! It's more rustic than my taste, but it is gorgeous! What amazing light the home has! I'm sure you had a blast photographing it, Paula.

I have been searching for a piece of art to hang in my home for months now and haven't found anything I love - until now! Would you possibly be able to find out the name of the artist who painted the horse in the home above?? I would love to get in touch with the artist.

Thanks Paula! xo
