Testing the Light
Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 6:00AM One great thing about being a husband and wife photography team is that you always have someone to test the light on. Ha. I kid. We love what we do. A hobby that happened to blossom into a business is such a blessing. It is a passion that we are able to do while the Mr still has a first job, in which he was called to do, without any interference except maybe being a bit tired during wedding season. It also helps afford us the ability for things like private school for the kiddos, living it up on vacations, and being able to be frivolous every once in awhile without adding much strain. Here are a few test shots from resent weddings we have had. Yes, I wear the same dress for every wedding just about. Shooting in 90 degree+ weather can be tough. Besides the dress has pockets to carry lens caps and such, can't get much better than that.

A dress with pockets is the best! Always get excited when I find one.
Pretty...that's really nice that you both share that interest in your work. I work with mine also...sometimes it's a challenge, but when it comes down to it it really makes me happy. Hope you have a beautiful day!

i laughed so hard at this post .. my hubby and i are also wedding photographers .. the only thing different about your test shots and ours ... i'm never smiling it seems like ... and in yours you at least had a smirk in one of them! and i too wear the same dress every wedding ... if you find a comfy one ... you should not trade ... it's not worth the risk of being uncomfortable on a long hot day! happy wedding season to ya!
