Our Master {an update}
Monday, September 12, 2011 at 6:00AM The other day I took a quick pic of the master in its current state to show my DIY headboard to a friend. I still think it is the easiest and cheapest way to transform a room if a new store bought or custom headboard just isn't in the budget. For the summer I lightly covered ours with some fabric I had laying around, hence why it is not completely straight. I like how it added another layer of texture within my neutral sea. As you can also see I have yet to actually sew the slipcover for the bench. I wanted to make sure I was 100% on the fabric choice first, but it has been a year. Ha. The pouf is new and I got it on Joss & Main. I adore it. Oh, and yes I suppose I have decided to keep the lamps shade less. I never loved any of the ones I tried so I just put in a low wattage clear fancy bulb and I must say I rather like it.

I like your sea of neutrals! Some rectangular shades would look great on those lamps!
You know how much I love my neutrals! The bedroom looks like such a relaxing retreat and I love every little detail! xo
Your master bedroom looks so serene yet collected. Would you mind sharing your source for the bedside tables? I am looking for something similar.
Paula, the room looks great. Is the pouf John Derian or would you mind sharing the brand? I am assuming the sale for that is over on Joss and Main.
Great mix of neutrals with flair!
i love the pillow in the front with the circles!
ohh it's looking so great!
I love the touches of gold in the frames and the lamps glam up the oatmeals throughout the room. Beautiful!
Hi, I'm Lindsay!
I love the mix of soft pastels and neutrals in your space. It's lovely! Those lamps are killer!! I especially love them naked!
Also, I noticed on a previous post that you're in B'ham? My hubs and I moved here 11 months ago from Texas. It's different but I'm starting to love the city.
I really have no idea about the pouf. I can't remember the shops name they had it listed under on Joss & Main. My receipt just says tan Moroccan pouf. It is gorgeous in person though. I have seen the same pouf twice so far in the last couple on months on the site so you never know if they will do it again. I am wishing now that I got two.
