Country Living
Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 7:51AM These spaces inspire me so. Simple, white, collected, and country living are a few words that come to mind. The spaces are far from feeling sterile. They feel inviting and ready for family and friends to dwell. Had I mentioned that I am finally getting around to painting our home white. It is something I have been wanting to do for quite some time. Now to break out the paint brushes, yikes.

Love this home! That hallway is gorgeous...my idea of overhead lighting. How wonderful to have enough room IN your kitchen to host a dinner party for a dozen or more. I'm hoping my new house in New Canaan has a yard that will look like that someday. Good luck with your house painting project Paula.

Love love love. All of these. Gorgeous.
I can't wait to see the results. I adore white interiors:))
I love white interiors. That long hallway with dark wood floor is gorgeous!
I'm painting my house white too! I just bought the paint yesterday, China White from BM. It's currently a creamy color and after 7 years of having that color on my walls, I'm ready for a change. What color are you going with? Great minds think alike! :)
What a great post of 'warmth' with the color white! I love his kitchen! The drying rack on the ceiling is pretty nifty too! What a great space saver in a smallish house!
What a gorgeous home. I love the contrast between the white and the dark floors. Beautiful.
