Blogging
Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 8:18AM I can not tell you how hard it is to begin this post. It seems taking extended time off from posting makes blogging quite the chore. Ha. The kiddos start school on the 22nd which also happens to my birthday. I know how ridiculous it must seem that I am so distraught over this, the school part not the birthday. I LOVE birthdays. You see, having atleast one of them around daily for the last 7 years to simply being alone is quite the change. I like routine and stability and this is throwing me for a loop. I know in the end I will probably grow to enjoy all the me time, but I have yet to reach that place. I am sure the below view is something that will become a daily occurence for me once again. It's a view I rather love.

In other news it seems Freshly Pickled, who made my mouse pad, has new colors in her shop. Are they not amazing? I may need another to come into rotation. A mouse pad for every mood possibly?

I think I "need" one of these.
Good luck with your new daytime schedule! Having all of the kids off at school is an exciting yet scary scenario. Being a Mom becomes so much of one's identity it's hard to imagine the next phases. I know I'll be dreading when my youngest two leave Momma to head out the door in the morning. Sending you warm thoughts and birthday wishes!
((hugs)) I don't like back to school either... fortunately we have 2 more weeks to go!
I am sure you would get into a routine in the mornings and before you blink they would be back from school!
Happy Birthday Paula! I remember those days of having a little one at home and then when my youngest went off to first grade my neighbor asked me on the way home from the bus one day..."so what do you do all day?" ---and this was before blogging, but still it seems that someone is home with the sniffles, lots of school holidays with a sprinkling of teacher in service days and half days and before you know...It's Christmas!! Enjoy all of it...these days go by way too fast!

Oh friend!!!! I will be thinking about you tomorrow!!!! This time last year we were supposed to go out for your birthday lunch and along came Henry! Why don't we do lunch soon, next week?
Those mouse pads are awesome! I am in need of a new one in my office, but I have been wanting one that is more on the sleek end since my desk (and office) are quite modern. Thanks for sharing@
oh, I'll be praying for you. many days i wish for everyone to be at school cause it's such a zoo here but i know when that day comes i'll be a mess! new routines always take some time getting used to. i love these mouse pads.. it's still on my order wish list ;)

"pinning" those for sure!
Did you end up doing anything fun for your birthday? I like routines to but sometimes we have to role with the fact that we can't always have stability in life.
