Fall Favorites

I thought why not dedicate at least two posts to my favorite time of year this week! We are already engrossed in football season, WAR EAGLE, evenings are getting cooler, and fall flowers are about to be put by the front door. Here are a few more things that have me excited about the change of season. The thought that I will soon be able to use the fireplace and fire pit makes me one giddy girl. One of my favorite candles will burn none stop I am sure. I have heard great things about this book and I can't wait to dig in. Blankets and throws will be put into constant use. Last but not least smores (mine gluten free of course) will make a regular appearance. I am not sure whether me or the kiddos are more excited about that one. Needless to say I am enamored with fall.

OOH! I am terrified of that book. Not that I enjoy excess at all - in fact, I hate spending money. But that book scares the dickens out of me! I'd love to read a post on your thoughts after you've had a chance to read it. :)

7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess. That sounds like such a good read. I myself have been reading much about minimalism, and this just takes another look at the concept. It's not about a white cube with sparse possessions, but about returning to a more meaningful and simple way of life/existence. Thank you for the suggestion. Cheers!

I read the book over the summer and it was very enlightening for me. Eye opening for me. I think you will love it!

Fall is my favorite time of year, too! I can't wait until its cold enough to use the fireplace.

I have read your blog for such a long time and think we would be the best of friends :) Anyway, two comments... I'm from Charleston, SC and love the ReWined candles. The Pinot Noir is divine and perfect for fall. I read Seven over the summer and it truly changed the way I think. My husband read after me and together we have been inspired to change our household and the way can glorify God through our behaviors/patterns. And it is absolutely HILARIOUS. Thanks for great posts.
