The Bigger the Better

It's not quite the laundry room, but it is at least my house! Thought I would share my new pillow that has been in the works for at least a year. Ha. Nothing like a photo shoot of your home to kick your bottom into high gear. The shoot was scheduled for today, but due to some nasty weather it was pushed back till tomorrow. Now to keep the house clean for an extra day. Yikes. When I started to re-do our room about a year ago I knew I wanted a big ole bolster. If you have ever priced them out they are expensive! Thankfully I came across a huge Ralph Lauren one at Home Goods forever ago. It was ugly, but was the size was what I needed. I then wrapped it in this fabric that I picked in a matter of seconds. I wanted something bold and brown. This fit that bill. I didn't even finish the ends, just took some velvet ribbon and wrapped the ends. Oh, the things I can do in the wee hours of the night.

Loving your new bolster!! I laughed when you said it had been a project in the works for about a year b/c I could say the same thing :) I keep looking at HomeGoods/TJMaxx for a big bolster for our king size bed. I actually just hit the jackpot and found a pair of big ones (from Tuesday Morning) that I plan to use in my daughter's room. They are so expensive when you buy them new...and so many sizes--who knew? ps. congrats on the house shoot!
